VISION

Year after year we strive to improve the quality and expand the range of plants, substrate and services, and thus meet the needs of our customers but also beautify the environment in which we live.

A LONG TIME AGO IN 1911

our first production of flowers started

14. Iako vam se čini kao bajka, radi se o istinitoj priči. Dođite i uvjerite se sami!
13. 2008. godina je prve proizvodnje u novoj Vrtlariji Pecina.
12. Nova lokacija je Sveta Nedjelja – gradska četvrt Novaki. To je dom današnje Vrtlarije Pecina.
11. 2007. godine Jaroslav je primijetio Janov interes da nastavi obiteljski posao. To ga je ohrabrilo da cvijeće preseli na novu, veću lokaciju.
10. Vrtlarija je osvajala brojna priznanja: 1. mjesto, 2. mjesto i dva puta 3. mjesto na FloraArt-u, ali i brojna druga.
9. Jaroslav je na vrt dovodio svojega sina Jana od malih nogu, da vidi ÄŤime se njegov tata bavi.
8. Jaroslav se tamo osjećao kao doma.
7. Eduard je poduÄŤavao svojeg sina Jaroslava, kako bi jednoga dana on mogao nastaviti posao.

5. Edo je prepustio brigu svojih miljenica svome sinu Eduardu,
4. Ta lokacija nalazila se na Srednjacima u Loparskoj ulici.
3. 1950. godine Edo je shvatio da je njegovo cvijeće preraslo zemljište pa ga je odlučio preseliti na novu lokaciju kako bi moglo i dalje nesmetano rasti.
2. Cvijeće je raslo i raslo.
1. Bilo je to davne 1911. godine kada je mladić Edo kupio zemljište na području današnjeg Trešnjevačkog placa i odlučio zasaditi cvijeće.

CARE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

For years the Pecina Nursery has been helping and supporting the praiseworthy activities of the Zagreb Bokci Association whose mission is to care for the elderly as well as the beauty of the City of Zagreb.
Also by donating flowers we regularly participate at the international garden exhibition FloraArt in Zagreb.

Last year’s involvement in the projects of the Town of Sveta Nedelja marked the beginning of a new successful collaboration.

While designing the new premises the Pecina Nursery paid particular attention to the environmental concerns.

 

As all production today is dependent on the chemical industry products the Pecina Nursery finds it important to reduce all contamination in flower production to the minimum.

This was achieved by installing special filters that adsorb all environmentally harmful ions from chemicals.

Also, in accordance with the current principles of reduced energy consumption and pollution the Pecina Nursery chose GAS as the main energy source. This assures sustained avoidance of environmental pollution, and of fuel oil or valuable wood consumption.
